First of all, this workbook is the coolest workbook I have ever owned and I am so excited to go through it. This past week has been a hard one for me and so I wasn't at all surprised when my Balanced Living Wheel came out looking like a very Unbalanced Living Wheel.
My 'me-time' tends to be very limited and is the first to be pushed to the back burner. Another thing that gets pushed to the back is my physical well-being. I tend to find it easy to skip meals, not drink water for days on end and try to survive on little sleep.
Two things that I feel like are going well for me right are my spiritual well-being and my relationships. I have been struggling to find my balance in my religion and I recently feel like I found my place.
And I am in the best relationship I have ever had in my life, I am forming relationships with my coworkers and my family relationships are growing stronger.

What a great exercise in the Single eBook! I had a rather hard time trying to find 15 positive qualities about myself. I find that it's a lot easier to talk about someone else's 15 positive qualities, but for myself I struggled a bit.
I know that I can do some things great, but I struggle with the little things sometimes. I think we as humans are so focused on what's going wrong or how we could improve rather on the positive things.
We try to find more ways to improve, but tend to forget that we are just fine the way we are. It's important to praise yourself every once in a while.

I am loving this work book! I completely agree that self reflection is a great tool. I find Self-reflection to be extremely important, however I will say not very many of us take that time to really do it.
One really does get to know themselves by simply doing it, for it asks important questions, helps us to gain a better understanding of our emotions and it strengthens our weakness and driving factors.
I used to be one of the individuals who wouldn't take the time to self reflect and well I was very much so feeling lost. Now that I've been putting in the time, my life is much more balanced than it was before.
I don't ever want to see myself fall back into living that unbalanced life for it seriously took me into a dark path of destruction.

I didn't realize how unbalanced my life was until I took the Balanced Wheel assessment. I'm a single mom who goes to school full time to be a police officer and runs ragged for my two boys, that has just become my life the last almost five years.
Self-Care, I don't really do this because my boys need me and everything I have going on, not to mention no babysitter, me time has become a thing of the past. Emotional, I have two settings with emotions I either have all of them at once, literally all, or I have none at all, it is my fight and survival mode and I have been working on that for years.
Career, even though it hasn't started yet I am trying to get there but school is my first step.

I like how the workbook says that finding a partner is like buying a house. The problem is, is that people buy houses differently. Some people jump when they find something they like right away and others, like me, look for something wrong, even if it seemed perfect at first.
I think the longer you look the more you find wrong even if it really is a good match. I completely love the idea of breaking ourselves down into categories by physical, social, emotion, etc to find and understand ourselves before we find and understand someone else.
I am really curious and nervous to do this workbook. It is always nerve racking to learn new things about myself. I am always changing and so I think it is so healthy to re-evaluate ourselves. It makes us a better partner.

From the Single eBook I liked the balanced living wheel. I can see the areas in my life where I’m progressing and the areas where I have slipped back. Getting older has certainly seen a decline in the physical area but financial, relationships, spiritual, emotional and intellectual are improving.
I would love to be at 100 on the financial but not sure that could ever happen. I think it’s a great idea to do a self assessment to see the areas in our lives we are lacking and need to look at and to see what is stopping us achieve our goals in these areas.

This workbook exercise was quite an interesting one, especially when it had us breaking ourselves down the parts of me into 5 different meaningful areas. It was also awesome to see that there are different ways to feel and understand emotion rather than how I used to just feel emotion.
This part of the workbook really got me thinking about becoming more self-aware with my choices in my life. Lastly I really liked when it mentions the spirit which effects us and personally myself more than the head and heart.
-Kyle
I'm loving this workbook! Upon leaving a "toxic relationship" I need some time for myself in where I need to only focus on myself. The single life break I decided to take on helped me work to regain that old bubbly, carefree and altruistic Liz that was once there.
For I had the time to work on my inner and external qualities. Time to reflect on other things in my life like school and work and what it is I really need from that future ideal person.

I am in a relationship and we will be a year next month. It was nice to apply some of the aspects from this ebook into my relationship and break it down a bit. When I first started dating my boyfriend my head and heart were all in.
I really thought a lot before we had made it official. I thought about the connection we had and how well we got along. My heart was also all in, it was easy for me to make a decision because for once my heart and head were in sync.
Before I started dating him I always had a hard time making decisions with both my heart and head agreeing. That's why for me it was easy to make it official with him. For once everything aligned.

My favorite part ebook was the BULLSHIP part! I was told this when I was single and I now tell it to my single friends. It could not be more true. Thinking that someone will change because they love you is far from true.
I was married before my husband now. It was only for a short while and I was young. I was told over and over again that the things that bothered me are going to always bother me and it would get worse.
I swore to myself and those who told me this that he would change. He did not change one bit. People are who they are. I also appreciated the part that said that you need to find yourself and do not look critically at your partner.
